Heaven
If we could visit heaven,ღ♥ღ
Even for a day,ღ♥ღ
Maybe for a moment,ღ♥ღ
The pain would go away,ღ♥ღ
I'd put my arms around you,ღ♥ღ
And whisper words so true,ღ♥ღ
That living life without you,ღ♥ღ
Is the hardest thing to do.ღ♥ღ
No matter how we spend our days,ღ♥ღ
No matter what we do,ღ♥ღ
No morning dawns or evening falls,ღ♥ღ
When we don't think of you xx.ღ♥ღ

I'm Gone... ♥
I'm gone, don't cry for me.
Please smile each time you think of me.
I'm not beneath the ground you see.
Each breeze that blows is part of me.
I'm in the clouds so soft and white.
My eyes will shine in stars at night.
Don't think of me as gone for good
I'll be around. You knew I would.
I'm watching everything you do.
I AM still sharing life with you.<
Just listen close, I am right here.
I'm here to listen everyday
To all the things you want to say.
I've seen you cry so many tears
Be glad we had so many years.
I'll wait until you come for me.
Our lives will be like they used to be.
We'll both be whole and free of pain,
My life with you will be back again.
Please take the love you gave to me
And give to others that are just like Me
But smile each time you think of me.

If We Could Bring You Back Again
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
If we could bring you back again,
For one more hour or day,
We’d express all our unspoken love;
We’d have countless things to say.
If we could bring you back again,
We’d say we treasured you,
And that your presence in our lives
Meant more than we ever knew.
If we could bring you back again,
To tell you what we should,
You’d know how much we miss you now,
And if we could, we would.
Miss you.
Missing you. Will be going to London on 25th September and marching for justice with our hearts and minds full of memories of you.
Love Always
Iona xx

THE GARDEN OF PROMISE
There is a place, I have been told,
Beyond an open gate
All have been invited
Where friends and loved ones wait.
It holds eternal promise
Of everlasting peace
No pain or sorrow ever comes
And teardrops there have ceased.
Abundant life is evident
Constant, fresh and new
A garden of provision
With Eternity in view.
The promise is awaiting
A place we can abide
Fulfilled for all who answer
The call to come inside.

Light a Candle
Light a candle for those we mourn.
Into a new life they will be born.
Do not look for them at the gravesite.
They are somewhere else radiating their beautiful light.
They have gone to a new world where there is no darkness, no pain.
Their light and essence will always remain.
Light a candle for those who have left this mortal place.
They are free to travel through time and space.
When we think of them, they are near.
When we sit in a beautiful garden. Their voices we hear.
When we listen to a divine symphony,
We close our eyes, their faces we see.
Light a candle for they have not really gone.
With each flickering flame, in your hearts they will always belong.

I cry for you each night and day
Im sorry, i just do
For it only takes a memory
And my heart aches more for you

Sometimes it hurts me so bad
Where i just cant take no more
To me life is so cruel
Everyday feels like a chore

PAISLEY SAYS GOOD BUY TO WAR HERO
Sombre task ... Paul McGhee's coffin is borne by his comrades
EMOTIONAL tributes were paid to slain war hero Paul McGee yesterday as he was laid to rest under a blanket of poppies.
Army top brass joined squaddie Paul's family and friends at his Remembrance Day funeral.
Scots Guard Paul, 28 - honoured for his bravery in Iraq - was stabbed outside his family home in Lochwinnoch, Renfrew-shire, following a night out with his mum Anne, girlfriend Helen Laycock, 25, and her mother Ann.
Heartbroken home-help Anne, 54, was supported by Paul's sister Kelly, 24, as she led more than 500 mourners at Paisley Town Hall.
Salute ... rescue helicopter makes fly-pastKelly read a poem that described her brother as 'The man, the legend, the hero, the one and only Paul McGee'.
Paul's Union Flag-draped coffin was carried by six colleagues.
Girlfriend Helen sobbed throughout the 30-minute service. Lieutenant Colonel Lincoln Jopp MC, commanding officer of 1st Battalion Scots Guards, spoke of Paul being awarded the Queen's Commendation for Bravery in 2008 for risking his life to save a pal.

He said: "Paul achieved greatness. He died as he had lived, a quiet hero."
A police motorcycle escort led the cortege to Lochwinnoch cemetery where mourners dropped poppies on to the coffin.
As the Last Post was played, a Royal Navy Sea King helicopter performed a fly-past. And three volleys of shots were fired off by Paul's Scots Guards colleagues.
TWO men have been charged over Paul's death on October 25.

"Our family has been destroyed by this wicked act of cowardice. Our lives will never be the same again.
"He served his country as a hero - and he died a hero."
Mum Anne is understood to have been to a restaurant with Paul in nearby Johnstone on Saturday night.

Paul won the Queen's Commendation for Bravery after trying to save Stephen Ferguson, 31, who later died, in Iraq in 2007.
